A must have when on the road. Its light and easily carried and worth the little effort as it gives you an additional 5 hours for your Viliv X70EX. Very cost effective.

Da das Viliv X70 das ideale Gerät für Urlaubs- oder Dienstreisen ist, sollte man sich den Ersatz-Akku zulegen. Die Laufzeit von 5 Stunden kommt gut hin.
Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass man den leeren Akku nur im Gerät aufladen kann und das dauert ca. 6 Stunden. Bei 2 leeren Akkus hat man dann ein Problem.
Hier mein Wunsch an die Entwickler: "Ladebuchse direkt am Akku!"
This is a must for using the x70 computer efficiently. The manufacturer promises 5,5 hours battery life, but this is not what you get in real life (most likely this 5,5 hours has been measured with brand new battery and all power-related adjustments at minimum and using programs that are not consuming much of processor capability). I manage to work with the machine something like 3 - 3,5 hours (having almost maximum brightness and wlan or 3g modem on using internet browser or word processor and similar programs). Anyway, if you have 2 batteries (the original delivered with computer and one extra) you manage quite well. The battery is small and slim, so it is easy to carry it with you. The battery is very well built and the finishing quality is excellent. I´ve had the computer and these 2 batteries for two months only, so I have no idea how they behave in the long run, this far there has been no problems. One thing I´m worried about is the computer´s locking slide switch keeping the battery connected, which seems to be not very firm (it doesn´t "click" to the locking position), but perhaps I´m over reacting, because for these 2 months it has never opened accidentally. Price is quite high, but for these items with small production quantities that´s what you have to accept.
