| 07.06.2010 Took the Viliv to Tunisia and used it for offroad navigation. (oziexplorer-software with highresolution maps). The viliv coped perfectly with the heat, dust and the vibrations and shocks that come with offroaddriving. The display was readably enough in daylight-conditions (we used a foil for the TFT-display also). It is not possible to write something or use the stylus while driving offroad. Once running the movingmap-software there was no need for input. Saving the tracks was done afterwards. It is quick to start Windows and on battery it will run for some hours. It was fixed in the Landrover with a Ram Mount. The original mount with the suction cup for the windscreen is too flimsy for offroad driving but no problem when used on road. I am very satisfied with the Viliv! Update from :2010-06-07 11:55 What I forgot to tell in my rating. We participated at the Rallye GrandErg. So it was a real tough ride :-)
