Der Realtek Chipsatz ist um ca. 40% billiger als das Intel Daughter Board! Dies ist den günstigen Chips die durchschnittliche Performance liefern geschuldet!

Really useful extension if you want to use the Jetway Mini-ITX boards for a gateway/firewall. We are using it with a Jetway NC92-330-LF and an active ISDN card as a combined internet gateway/firewall and ISDN PBX (with asterisk). Simply a perfect fit for the task.
The network interfaces work perfectly fine under both Windows XP and Linux (any I tried: Debian etch/lenny or Ubuntu from Hardy onwards) in my experience.

4 gigabyte nic are the optimal configuration for a personal firewall
Habe die Karte als Ergänzung zum Jetway NF9D-2550 zum Aufbau einer Firewall mit mehr als 2 Interfaces gekauft und alle 3 Ports werden vom Linux-Kernel (3.9.x) sofort erkannt und per uDEV eingebunden. Hab den Durchsatz noch nicht messen können, aber bezweifle dass der Bus überhaupt die 3x 1GBit Durchsatz bringt; nur, wer braucht schon so einen Durchsatz....
